Sarah Peters E-RYT 200 has been teaching yoga for over 4 years. She specializes in Vinyasa and is thrilled to share her teaching methodology, sequencing structure, and methods for creative theming of classes.
She has a background in Art and believes that movement is a personal form of creative expression, release and self-care. After undergoing wrist surgery, she learned how to adapt her practice in recovery and brings an understanding that the practice can always meet you where you are. She encourages students to find autonomy in their practice so they can take tools with them wherever they are.
Sarah completed her 200 hour Teacher training at Yogalinda in Barcelona, Spain. She trained with Jason Crandell in 2020 with his 100 hour module, Core & Spine: Building of Integrity and Stability. She has taken weekend workshops with Kathryn Budig, practices with Meghan Currie and is continually looking for new inspiration and movement possibilities in her personal practice.
Sarah has lived in Bloomington since 2016. When not practicing yoga she enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, dancing, reading, painting, knitting, and gardening. Her little lizard companion, Zazu, which means movement, has been moving with her for 14 years.
