March - April
Thursdays at 5:30-7:00pm
Acro Foundations provides the basics for beginners or those completely new to acro and to advance your skills within an Acro Yoga Practice. You will work in small groups to learn the foundations of an acro yoga practice. You might fall, you might laugh, you might find yourself trusting someone you've never met before. Acro Yoga builds strength, increases your awareness of your body in space, and improves balance.
Each month we will begin a new series, review skills if you have practiced with us before and work on leveling up from where you are.
You do NOT need a partner to sign up for the class. We will be working in groups of 3. For this reason we need a minimum of 3 people per week to run the session. So please register in advance to ensure we can make it happen!
Acro Yoga is held at Ekah Yoga Studio March - April. In the case that we have more than 6 people we will relocate to Windfall Dance studio and we will give you notification.
WE ARE ONE. We are in this together. We are working as a collective to bring you classes and offerings that are donation based to support our community. We are there with you!
Donation-based Zoom Sessions are a gift to anyone who would benefit - free of cost. If you have funds, proceeds will go to Ekah Yoga to keep the studio going & continue to pay our teachers & portion to instructor for leading the session.
Thanks to your support we have been able to donate to:
El Mercado, a local "platform for POC artisans, cooperatives, small business owners, local groups & orgs to network, trade and invest in a collaborative economy." Some of their programs include an artisan market, local and international trade networks, and financial literacy and business start-up education.
Color of Change who "designs campaigns powerful enough to end practices that unfairly hold Black people back, and champion solutions that move us all forward."
Our teachers: We have been able to keep our studio going and pay our instructors throughout this challenging time. We couldn't do it without you! Thank you so so much!
We want to give a special thank you to Michael Demsey & Heather Grishams donated $500 to the improvement of our outside space. We are working to create a space we can all gather after we get through this. We are looking into adding a new bench and continuing growth of our mandala garden.
If you are interested in helping to support Ekah by giving a donation, buy a gift card, or buy classes for people who are financially strained at this time please email crystalolry@gmail.com. If you or someone you know is struggling due to the economic impact of Covid-19 please email crystalolry@gmail.com. If you are in financial need please contact Crystal as we have received some donations for class passes and would love to share them with you!
Please note workshops are priced separately (unless stated otherwise). Some we offer for free. Workshops & special events are not included in unlimited monthly membership or class passes.
