Jenny Cho

Instructor Bio

I did my first sun salutation when I was twelve years old. I didn't know it then, but it was a promise to my life's ever-evolving journey towards union—Oneness. Through my practice, I learn every day (most days) that our bodies are our most precious instruments, as vehicles of love and light. As a teacher, I believe I am first, foremost and forevermore a student of Life. Join me on this journey within—through consciousness of breath, sound and movement—to heal our bodies, minds, souls, spirits.

Born and raised in Bloomington, IN, Jenny's journey as a yogi began in middle school where she learned yoga as an exploratory course, practicing amongst books in the school library. She began a more devoted yoga practice in 2008 in Malibu, CA where she attended Pepperdine University. After earning her BA in 2012, Jenny became a certified yoga teacher in 2014 through Naam Yoga and also graduated from the Ruskin School of Acting. She began teaching at Naam Yoga in Santa Monica, where she also worked as the studio’s Operations Manager. In 2015 she received her Vocal Yoga teacher certification, and in subsequent years she continued her studies in additional holistic healing modalities including Naam Yoga Level II, Harmonyum Healing, Reiki, aromatherapy and sound healing. Jenny has taught yoga at festivals including One Love Fest, Disclosure Fest and Flow Fest. She is a mother, farmer and a lover of truth and spiritual wisdom. In addition to teaching yoga, farming and being a mom, she works as a freelance manager and support personnel for a private business consultant and CHEP, Inc., a non-profit organization.
