Lyndsi found yoga in her late twenties after experiencing burnout, anxiety, and depression following several years in a fast paced corporate job. 28, unemployed, and looking for guidance she stumbled into her first yoga class. It was love from first breath. Through yoga, meditation, and mindfulness practices Lyndsi was able to rediscover herself and find her way back to her true goals and desires in life. Since then she has considered herself a “self-help junkie” and loves diving further into the world of yogic philosophy and practices.
In 2020 a desire to deepen her knowledge of yoga led Lyndsi to Bloomington’s Nourishing Heart Yoga to complete her 200hr yoga teacher certification. Upon completion of her training Lyndsi knew she wanted to continue her yoga journey and become a part of the Bloomington yoga community. Lyndsi hopes to foster a playful and non-judgmental spirit in all her yoga classes. Her true goal in every class is to lead her students into an awareness of their body and breath.
When not practicing yoga Lyndsi can usually be found dotting on her two chubby cats, traveling with her husband, or gathering with friends at a local restaurant downtown.
