|Originally, yoga was taught by one teacher directly to one student. The great ancient teachers understood the importance of individualizing each yoga experience to meet the needs of the new student. Today, a private session allows for a more intimate view of your practice. You can start a new practice, deepen your practice or spend some time working with an injury or condition. When you work with a teacher one on one, the teacher is able to help you experience the benefits of yoga in a safe, personal way.
Private yoga is an invaluable tool for students of all levels and experience. Private lessons provide the perfect setting to address your goals and work on areas of individual interest. Based on your needs or request, we will pair a certified yoga teacher with you to create a practice suitable for where you are now. Props such as blankets, bolsters, straps, blocks, chair and sandbags are employed to make postures more comfortable and safer. “The body is the prop for the soul. Private Group Sessions are a great way for small groups to learn and grow together. Whether your celebrating an event such as a birthday or bachelorette party, or you would like to practice as a couple or family with special guidance. Scheduling a Private Group Session provides you and your group of friends or family with a one of a kind yoga session, created specifically for any occasion.
A TAILORED YOGA PARTY
Wouldn’t it be nice to give yourself or a friend a very special day? If you’re interested in thinking outside the box to offer that someone special a whole day of love and care, then you have come to the right place. Here’s an idea of what that special day could look like. When one of my best friends was turning the big 40, I collaborated with a couple other of her good friends and sister to come up with a special day just for her. My friends sister and I collaborated on reaching out to all the friends so we could come together for this special day. We all dressed in similar colors, so we would have a very special photo opportunity. We started the day with a gentle and uplifting yoga practice. After the class we had time to mingle before indulging in a healthy, yet delicious catered lunch. After this special group time, we all took off to continue on with our day, but our special birthday girls stayed behind, so she could finish off the day with a nurturing massage therapy session.
